Just a quick blurb about this. IBM has released a new font family, IBM Plex. It’s open source and available for anyone to use.
Apparently their main reason for developing this font was to stop paying a million a year to continue licensing and using Helvetica, and they’ve been kind enough to allow the rest of us to use it as well if we like. So I’ve changed the font on my posts and post headers to IBM Plex for the time being. I found I needed to bump up the font size 1 point on the post text to keep it roughly the same size.
Please take a moment and give me feedback on it, like it or not. All other fonts on the site remain the same for now as a comparison.
