Following one of the many FF updates in recent months I noticed my new tab page was back to the old settings. &nbsp;The first few tabs I had saved were still there, but the columns and rows were not right.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I put up with it for a while not having the time to scour the web to find out why. &nbsp;My frustration with this recently forced a search and here&#8217;s what I discovered. &nbsp;The tab layout, in my case 5 columns x 4 rows, was still there. &nbsp;The problem is the geniuses at FF decided to ignore that and set the view zoom on a new tab to zoomed in. &nbsp;Zooming a new tab page out 3 or 4 steps restored all of my tabs. &nbsp;The fix for this seems to be in the about:config setting <em>browser.newtab.preload<\/em> which I had set to true. &nbsp;Changing this to false fixed the page zoom issue.<\/p>\n<p>Happy browsing!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a quick update on this topic.
